July 6, 1944 – November 16, 2017

Pamelia “Pam” Phillips Ivester, 73, wife of R. Terry Ivester, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 peacefully at her home.

Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Otis Clifford and Leila Castles Phillips. Pam was a graduate of Newberry High School and Coker University. She taught at Riverside High School in Greer SC and was a member of the Clemson United Methodist Church where she was active in her circle and the Samaritan Stitchers.

Survivors in addition to her husband are daughter, Cindy Ivester of Seneca; son-in -law, R. Scott Tewell and two grandchildren, Adam Tewell and Lindsay Tewell all of Decatur, GA; brother, Clifford Phillips Jr. of Taylors; and sister, Gail Philips Zidlick of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Ivester Tewell.

A Memorial service will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Clemson United Methodist Church with a family and friend gathering to follow the service.
A Graveside service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Winnsboro, SC at Greenbrier Cemetery, 681 Greenbrier Mossydale Rd, Winnsboro, SC 29180.
