HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Sept. 18, 2013 – Coker College Provost and Dean of the Faculty Tracy Parkinson announced a partnership between Coker and Wells Fargo today. The two have teamed up to create The Wells Fargo Summer Business Academy at Coker College, a week-long business program for high school students to be held on Coker’s campus during the summer. It will begin in the summer of 2014.

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Sept. 18, 2013 – David Osborne, a renowned Steinway Artist and Las Vegas, Nev., pianist, is returning to Hartsville for a performance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 in the Watson Theater of Coker College’s Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center. A cocktail reception will be held after the event in the Stein Gallery.
Hartsville, S.C. — Coker College will inaugurate Dr. Robert L. Wyatt as its 16th president on Friday, March 26 at 10 a.m. in the Courtyard at Davidson Hall on campus. The ceremony is open to the public and will be followed by a luncheon in the College’s Susanne G. Linville Dining Hall.
Hartsville, S.C. — Coker College is launching its online courses program this summer. Enrollment is open to current Coker students and students in good standing from other colleges and universities. Online classes begin on Saturday, May 15 and end on Saturday, July 10.
Hartsville, S.C. — Coker College graduate Anna Lippard '10 of Gaffney, S.C., has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship from the U.S. Department of State to spend a year teaching English in Bratislava, Slovakia. Lippard graduated from Coker in May with a degree in history and minors in English and dance.
