Fall Orientation 2017

Cobra Quest: Fall Orientation will be held Saturday, August 19 - 22, 2017.

As a new student, your first priority will be to get comfortable at Coker College. It is our job to provide you with everything you need to make a smooth and easy transition. We do this by organizing a first-class orientation program that you’ll find fun as well as informative. All students who are new to Coker College must attend the Fall Orientation program. To help meet the unique needs of new first-year and transfer students, we have designed a program that will assist you in your transition to campus.

Residential Students

Students staying in the residence halls may check-in from 8:00am – 1:00pm in the DeLoach Center. During this process you will receive your orientation packet, tie up loose ends with student accounts or the financial aid office, have your ID made, and receive your residence hall key. Afterwards, you will proceed to the residence halls to be welcomed by our staff as they help you unload and move into your residence hall room. Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30am, and the Welcome Session for you will begin in the DeLoach Center.

Commuter Students

Students planning to commute may check-in from 12:00pm – 1:00pm in the DeLoach Center. The Welcome Session for you will begin in the DeLoach Center. Be sure to join us at 1:00pm for the Getting Involved in Campus Life session!

Although a few sessions during Orientation are optional, most programs are required! Therefore, we encourage you to read over the schedule carefully. If you have any questions, contact the Student Experience Office at (843) 383-8035.
