Room Draw is the process by which current residents select their residence hall room and roommates for the next year. Each resident is assigned a lottery number. This number indicates the order in which residents get to choose their room.
If you already know who you would like to live with next year, you will go by the resident who has the LOWEST lottery number. For example, if you would like to live in Grannis Hall and you have three other residents picked out as your roommates, you will show up as a group at Room Draw during your designated time to pick your room. You will use the LOWEST lottery number in your group for the order in which you go. However, you MUST familiarize yourself with the steps you have to complete in order to be able to participate in Room Draw, as well as the guidelines for each Residence Hall.
Please be sure to check your Coker College email at the beginning of April for the following:
- Room draw checklist
- Room draw guidelines
- Proxy forms
- Off-campus housing policy
- Move on campus information
Room Draw will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 beginning at 5pm in the Drawing Room.
