Faye Herring Floyd

Faye H. Floyd, of Nichols, passed away July 1, 2019 at Brunswick Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ash, NC. Faye was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Dorothy Herring of Lake View; her son, Charles Daniel Floyd; her brothers, Robert, John and Phil Herring; and her beloved husband, Burnie C. Floyd, Jr. She is survived by her Daughter, Debra Floyd (Maxie) Strickland; her Granddaughters: Amanda S. (Harry) Allen and Kelsey S. Strickland; and a Great Granddaughter, Olivia Allen. Faye was a graduate of Lake View High School and Coker College. She was a member of the Nichols United Methodist Church and the Mabel Goodyear Circle. Graveside services were held at Jones-Nichols Cemetery, this past Thursday, July 4 at 10 AM, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, c/o Alexis Watts, 120 Stoneridge Dr., Suite 210, Columbia, SC 29210 or to the Nichols United Methodist Church.
