Graveside services for Jeffrey (Jeff) Alan Rhodes age 51 will be held Monday at 2:00pm at Magnolia Cemetery. Pastor Ladell Humphries and Pastor Patrick Dye will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday, 4:00-6:00pm at Norton Funeral Home.
Jeff passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019. He was born in Hartsville the son of John Wiley Rhodes and the late Judy Nelms Rhodes. He worked at Sonoco Products company for 20 years as a Safety Coordinator. He attended North Hartsville Baptist Church, he enjoyed spending time with his family and always would look forward to their beach vacations. Jeff was a former body builder, in 1996 he won 1st place in the SC Junior Lightweight Bodybuilding Championship and in 1997 he won 1st place in the SC Junior Middleweight Bodybuilding Championship.
Left to cherish his memory are his dad of Hartsville; his wife, Jennifer Smith Rhodes, Hartsville; sons, Noah Rhodes, Hartsville, Chapin Rhodes, Hartsville; brothers, John Rhodes, Lancaster, Chad (Karen) Rhodes, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; aunt, Jane (Richard) Cheshire, Hartsville; uncle, J.C. (Ann) Rhodes, Hartsville.
He was preceded in death by his mom Judy Nelms Rhodes.
