LIVINGSTON, CAMILLA RICHARDSON of Birmingham, Alabama, formerly of Pine Mountain, Georgia departed this life on Friday, March 30, 2012 with her husband and daughters at her side. She is now safely in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
Camilla was born to Richard and Katherine Richardson on December 1, 1930 in Summerton, South Carolina.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Leon Ralph Livingston, Colonel USA (ret), three daughters, Cantey and David Deeter, Katherine and Garry Ard, and Ann and Terry Lawley, seven grandchildren, Katie Deeter Douglas, Emily Deeter Haisten, Camilla Deeter, Graham Ard, Elizabeth Ard, John Lawley and Grace Lawley, three great grandchildren, Emma Kate, Harper and William Douglas, sister Betsy and brother in law Dr. John Cathcart and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
Camilla was a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church. She was a member of the Colonial Dames and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother who cherished her family.
A celebration of Camilla’s life will take place on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Saint Mary’s on the Highlands Episcopal Church in Birmingham, AL. The family will receive friends from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM in the church parlor. Internment will take place at the Fort Benning Post Cemetery, Fort Benning, Georgia.
