Howard Coker is the President and CEO of Sonoco, leading the company’s global packaging businesses. He joined Sonoco in 1985 and has held various leadership roles in consumer and industrial markets.
Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Paper/ Industrial Converted Products and held key positions in rigid paper and closures. Coker holds a B.A. from
Wofford College and an MBA from Wake Forest University. He serves on the boards of Wofford College, the American Forest & Paper Association, and MAPI.
