Master of Science in Applied Criminology

Application requirements include a bachelor’s degree with an overall grade point average of 3.00 (on a A=4 point scale). Students with a lower undergraduate grade point average may be considered on a conditional basis. The bachelor’s degree must be earned from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Additionally, students will be required to submit a portfolio of materials including the following:

  • An official copy of all undergraduate and graduate transcript(s)
  • A one-page personal statement (outlining career and educational goals)
  • Professional resume (highlighting any related work history)
  • Three signed letters of recommendation. Electronic signatures accepted.

Portfolios will be evaluated by members of the Graduate Advisory Committee. The applicant pool will be ranked, and those with the highest total scores will be admitted.
