November 4, 1942 – August 31, 2017
Kathleen Blackmon Canada of Alpharetta, GA, and formerly of Hartsville, SC, born on November 4, 1942, went to be with Jesus August 31, 2017. She loved the Lord and lived a full life sharing love with others. She will be missed by many. She was a graduate of Coker University. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, laughing, studying the Bible and experiencing life with her friends and family. She attended Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church where the memorial service is being held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 3, 2017 with a celebration of her life to follow at Rivermont Country Club. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Joel Irvin Canada and son J. Carlylse Canada (Wendy), daughter Kathleen Elizabeth “Libby” Sizemore (Preston), grandchildren Dahlia Canada Priest (Caleb), Mary Elizabeth “Mimi” Sizemore and Smith Canada, sister, Beth Blackmon.
