Athletics Hall of Fame 1997
Dennis Woolfolk is the Coker University men’s basketball all-time leading scorer with 1,975 career points. Woolfolk earned NAIA All-American honors in 1989 and was co-recipient of the 1988-89 CG Timberlake Athlete of the Year award.
In addition to his career scoring record, Woolfolk also holds the Coker single game and single season records for most three-point field goals and owns the Cobra second highest career scoring average. Wolfolk played in 109 consecutive games at Coker, the third most in school history. Woolfolk was a member of Coker’s first ever 20-win team as the Cobras posted a 21-8 record during the 1987-88 season.
After graduation from Coker, Woolfolk signed to play professional basketball in Europe, where he has enjoyed a successful career. Woolfolk has spent the past four years playing pro basketball in Portugal.
