Jacqueline Campbell “Jackie” Williams, 89, widow of Fred Evan Williams, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Hospice House.
Born in Abbeville, December 18, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Graydon and Essie Childs Campbell. Mrs. Williams was a graduate of Abbeville High School and attended Coker University. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and the Bible Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her three children, Glenn Williams and wife Allie of Greenwood, Jan White and husband Tim of Los Alamos, NM and Leigh Ann Vickery and husband Jimmy of Greenwood; one brother, Sonny Campbell of Spartanburg and one sister, Eva Ruth Griffin of Florida; nine grandchildren, Fred (Caitlin) Williams, David (Eva Glasgow) Williams, Evan Williams, Lindsey (Rowland) Liverman, Nick (Camille) White, Haley White, Forrest White, Campbell Vickery and Zoe Vickery and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Williams was predeceased by a son, Chris Williams.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday at Main Street United Methodist Church with Rev. James McCoy-Bruce officiating.
Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens prior to the service.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
