Louise Harper Morrison

Louise Harper Morrison, 82 wife of E. Clark Morrison, Jr. of James Island passed away on Wednesday. She was born in Marion, SC on March 17, 1936, the daughter of Neill P. Harper and Katherine B. Harper. She attended Marion Schools and Coker University. Louise was an active member of St. James Episcopal Church, serving her Lord in various areas of ministry. She was active in the ECW, served as church treasurer, a member of the Choir, Altar Guild, Flower Guild and Food Ministry. She was a member of the James Island Dance Club, a former member of the Riverland Terrace Garden Club and the Woman’s of Charleston. She is survived by her husband, one son, Eugene C. Morrison, lll (Sue) and one grandson Brandon C. Morrison (Rachel), one sister, Vivian H. Mobley, a sister-in-law Brabston Harper, and nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her brother Wayne Harper and half-sister Nell Clark. The funeral service will be held at St. James Church, at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 27th. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice or to the St. James choir fund at 1872 Camp Road, Charleston, SC , 29412.
