HARTSVILLE, S.C. – March 28, 2013 – Coker College and the Hartsville chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) will host their first spring fashion show luncheon at noon Tuesday, April 23 at Lakeview Baptist Church in Hartsville.

Tickets for the event, which is a fundraiser to benefit the Coker College Annual Scholarship Fund, are $15.

“The Annual Scholarship Fund provides students much-needed financial assistance each year,” said Tiletha Lane, Coker College director of major gifts.

All funds raised will benefit Coker College students through the Annual Scholarship Fund and through a new IAAP annual scholarship that will be established following the event.

“We are proud and excited about the opportunity to be able to give a scholarship to a Coker student,” said Jennifer Rhodes, assistant to the provost and dean of the faculty, who, as chair of the event for IAAP, is helping to organize the fundraiser.

Fashion sponsors include Alexander’s, Belk of Hartsville, Cato’s, Lulu’s, MOG’s, Goody’s and Minnie’s.

The show will be held during Administrative Professionals Week, April 21–27, which IAAP has recognized since 1952. Today, it is one of the country’s workplace observances outside of employee birthdays and major holidays.
