"I served Coker for 27 years from 1984 until 2011. I was chair of education for the first 15 years and was instrumental in starting what is now known as the Adult Degree Program on the Coker campus in 1985. My specialty was teaching courses on how to teach mathematics and science. I was also responsible for the Introduction to Education course, and a course on Teaching About the Holocaust."

"Having just graduated with my Ph.D., I drove 11 hours with my husband to complete an onsite interview. As soon as I met the Wiggins School of Education faculty and staff, I felt like I was at home. My Coker story is full of kindness, love, and wonderful friends, and who would ever want to leave all of that?"

"I came to Coker College in 2015 after spending 30 years teaching at both the elementary and college levels. I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, and when my family and I decided to move back to South Carolina, it was with the thought of coming home. Home is exactly what I found at Coker College and in Hartsville. The faculty and staff at Coker are some of the most caring people you will ever meet, and they really support our students. I am very happy to be here!"

"I knew that I should go to the college that spoke to my soul and mind. My first tour of Coker solidified that I was in the right place. I have wanted to work here ever since I was a student. The faculty and staff are amazing, supportive, and encouraging. The faculty are first-rate, and they motivate and challenge their students. While in a small town and maintaining a close-knit feel, Coker still allows its students to explore the world. It is an honor to be a part of this institution."
