General Science
Bachelor of Science
Why get a General Science Degree?
The General Sciences major is an interdisciplinary degree that aims to provide a broad scientific background and develop fundamental skills in mathematics and science. It is appropriate for students who plan to continue studying in professional areas such as post-secondary education, business administration, dentistry, law, medicine, or veterinary medicine.
The major curriculum provides a comprehensive undergraduate science education with the opportunity for concentration in different subfields. After completing foundation courses in mathematics, chemistry, physics, and the life science, students can elect one concentration in a designated field approved by the science faculty.
