Coker College Partners with Horry-Georgetown Technical College to Offer Online Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management

Hartsville, S.C. – April 17, 2017 – Coker College has partnered with Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) in Conway, S.C., to offer a fully online bachelor’s degree program in business management for HGTC graduates.

After HGTC students earn their associate’s of arts business transfer degree or associate’s of applied science in business administration degree, they can transfer those credits directly into Coker College’s business management program, giving students two years of completed course requirements toward their bachelor’s degree. The flexible online program operates on an accelerated schedule, allowing students to finish their business management degree in just two years.  

"We are thrilled to collaborate with Horry-Georgetown Technical College to offer their business graduates an opportunity to complete their bachelor's degree in just two years,” said Elaine Hodges, director of Coker College’s Adult Degree Program. “Students are so busy with work, family and school. The online program provides them an avenue to continue their collegiate education while balancing the other demands in their lives."

The B.S. in business management online degree program begins each August and includes one summer term. HGTC graduates interested in joining the online program should complete an application online at May 2017 HGTC graduates will be eligible for the first cohort beginning in August and are encouraged to apply immediately.
