Commencement

Tickets

Each graduate is permitted 12 tickets. Order your tickets here. Graduates will receive an email with specific instructions from the Office of Academic Records on how to reserve tickets for their guests.

If graduates have guests who require special accommodations, the student must contact Jennifer Rhodes at jrhodes@coker.edu prior to reserving any tickets.

Guests will be allowed to enter the DeLoach Center as early as 9:00 a.m. Seating is assigned by ticket number, and any child over the age of 2 will need a ticket.

IMPORTANT REMINDER TO ALL GRADUATES: PLEASE REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR EMAIL FREQUENTLY FOR FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE OFFICE OF ACADEMIC RECORDS.

• For the comfort of our guests. The temperatures in South Carolina can be extremely hot in May. Indoor ceremonies help us keep our graduates, employees and guests healthy and safe.
• There is access to restrooms.
• There is access for wheelchairs.
• Inclement weather doesn’t affect or change the ceremonies.
• Ceremony times. When we host graduation ceremonies outside it must happen at 8:00 am due to intense heat. With indoor ceremonies we can start later which allows our guests more time to travel to see their graduates.
• The decision has been made to move all future commencement ceremonies into the Deloach Center

• Each graduate is permitted 12 guests.
• A child over the age of 2 is considered 1 of 12 guests.
• A fellow student is considered 1 of the 12 guests.
• No guests will be allowed to enter Deloach without a ticket.

• Ticketing will be done electronically through Hometown Ticketing.
• All graduates will be sent an email with a password to begin reserving their ticket.

• Guests may present their tickets on an electronic device or paper.
• Doors open 1 hour before the event begins.
