Ray Henry, a 1990 graduate of Coker University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, was a four-year member of the men’s basketball team. Ray’s contributions to the program are still noticeable today, as he is the fourth leading scorer in Cobra history with 1,301 points. Henry is fourth all –time at Coker in rebounds with 500 and holds the single game record for field goal percentage when he shot 11-12 (91.7) against Presbyterian College in December of 1989. As a freshman he led the conference, which consisted of 16 teams, in three point field goal percentage at 50 percent. He was twice voted MVP of the team and was a two-time NAIA All-District performer.

While a student at Coker, Henry was named “Who’s Who in America”, was a member of FCA, and participated in the Christmas in April program.

Since graduation Ray has remained actively interested in the men’s basketball program. He is currently the co-owner of Homeowner of Homeowner Data Service Incorporated in Lilburn, Ga., a successful company in the direct marketing industry specializing in reaching new home owners, which he co-founded in 1993. Ray lives in Lilburn with his wife and two sons.
